Kayla DeVito is an oil painter living in the ever-inspiring marsh of Beaufort, SC. While battling depression due to Late-Stage Lyme Disease, Kayla taught herself to paint to cope. She held her first art show in August 2021 and sold out of 40+ paintings in less than a week. Since then, she has continued to evolve and learned to draw upon her emotions to create works that are as layered in meaning as they are in paint. Most of Kayla's paintings are oil, and vary in substrate. Her paintings are made with quality canvases and professional-grade paints, and protected in an archival, UV-resistant varnish.
