“Look For Me” Antique Framed Oil Painting - 27” x 31”

This is another scene I created from a place of intense grief. Somehow after losing more souls, and dealing with more tragedies than most deal with in a lifetime, I’ve seen the most miraculous sun rays bursting through clouds. Or maybe I’m just noticing them more often. I’m not really sure. What I do know is that I’ve photographed them all on my phone and I’m trying my best to paint them. This is one I witnessed a few weeks ago. I hope I did it justice.

Oil on canvas panel, framed in a late 1800s frame. The frame features original, time-won character, adding to the overall charm of this piece. This scene was created specifically for this frame.

Painting size is 16” x 20”

Frame is 27” x 31”.

Please note that we are about to leave for Italy for a few weeks, where we’ll be teaching painting. As such, all artwork orders that are to be shipped will begin shipping out the first week of October. Customers that choose “local pickup” at checkout will be emailed in regards to pickup. If not picked up before we leave for Italy, said customers will be emailed again upon our return to schedule a pickup at the end of Sept or early Oct.

Pricing

Chosen prices are a direct correlation of time spent creating. Some paintings take 10 hours and some take several months of 60+ hours of work plus dry times between layers. The value, rarity and ornateness of each frame (or lack thereof) is also taken into account.
