“Mimic” Oil Painting in Antique Italian Frame - 15.25" x 13.5"

A hazy storm lingers over a marsh. I hope this painting is a reminder to stand firm when storms waft in, as they never last and often produce knowledge we wouldn't have gained otherwise.

Oil on custom hardboard, framed in an 1880s frame. The frame features original, time-won character, adding to the overall charm of this piece. It features the original velvet, which has been cleaned, but maintains its age in appearance. I believe the frame to be Italian in origin, from its Renaissance style.

This scene was created specifically for this frame. I used colors inspired by Venice to lend to the Italian feel.

Frame is 15.25" x 13.5" x 1.5" deep.
