Painted/named from a poem by Nikita Gill.
I created this scene as a metaphorical depiction of rebirth and finding one's new path after heartache, grief or trauma. The ocean is very detailed and tumultuous under the twinkling stars and vivid light. I hope it reminds you of the beauty that can still come to you after a lifetime of trauma.
Admittedly, this was a tough one to photograph. Please know it’s far more beautiful, full of depth and detailed in person than my photos depict 😅
