Painted/named from a poem by Whitney Hanson.

This painting is meant to represent platonic love from family and friends, and its steady rhythm, despite the unexpected twists and turns of life. This scene is one I see daily, and reaches out from a bridge over brackish water towards the open ocean. The lands beside a river are always fixed and ever-present, like walking through a line of loved ones cheering you on in slow motion as you embark on new journeys, tough life decisions and/or decide to take on difficult waters.

Oil on a solid heavy oak antique printers tray from France. The tray features the original small numbered tag on the top.  Please note that this tray is a true antique, and as such, features marks and dings underneath the paint instead of a super smooth surface. I feel this adds character to the overall piece.

Total printer’s tray size is 32.3” x 19.75”. Ready to hang.

All originals and prints come with the poem they’re named/painted from, in case you’d like to frame and hang it next to the art.
