Painted/named from a poem I wrote.

This is a special seascape scene that I painted to represent feeling hopeless and lost, and the importance- and strength- of saving yourself during times likes these. It also includes maybe finding no footing with those around you but finding strength through whatever empowers you: religion, giving back, therapy, etc. We often hear of how others played a part in being our saving grace, but it's also understated how powerful it is when you're forced to pick yourself up time and time again. This is to represent all those who've been forced to be strong, been forced to choose between sink or swim, and chose to swim like hell to save themselves. I see you and your quiet strength.

All originals and prints come with the poem they’re named/painted from, in case you’d like to frame and hang it next to the art.

Oil on deep, gallery-wrapped canvas. Extra large at 5ft x 4ft. A true statement piece and dare I say it... my most detailed seascape to date. This work took around 110 hours over the course of 3 months to create. Unframed, with painted sides, ready to hang. Please see below for shipment details.

As this work is so large, it will have to be shipped via freight. As such, we've provided a few options.

•FREIGHT DELIVERY UP TO THE MIDWEST REGION: $8200 (shipped in a custom crate; insured)

•FREIGHT DELIVERY TO THE WEST COAST REGION: $8500 (shipped in a custom crate; insured)

Please note, we are leaving to teach art in France and will be gone through the end of April. All paintings will ship/be delivered in May upon our return. You will be emailed regarding delivery, if delivery is chosen.

Pricing

Chosen prices are a direct correlation of time spent creating. Some paintings take 10 hours and some take several months of 100+ hours of work plus dry times between layers. The value, rarity and ornateness of each frame (or lack thereof) is also taken into account.
