Collection: Adequate Collection

A collection of 3 works inspired by imposter syndrome and pushing through the confines our minds can place on us to presumably keep us safe, but bound.

These 3 works are my attempt at running away from creative safety and toward the unknown. I am so proud of the growth I experienced while creating them.

Each is framed in a stunning antique frame.

One of my favorite paintings I've ever created, based on a real scene I witnessed recently. This antique frame is a real stunner, too. Frame measures 17.25" x 15.25" at the widest points. This is the smallest of the 3 paintings in this collection.

This is a larger, statement painting inside a beautiful, modern profile (but still antique!) frame. I painted this scene a few months ago, but it didn't feel right. Imposter Syndrome had me hide it away. I dug it out of storage recently and got to work, and now I'm so proud of how it turned out (and the lessons I learned while creating it.) Frame measures 30.25" x 24" and is by far the largest in this collection of 3 paintings.

Available 10/9 at 7pm EST

This painting is the medium size in this collection of 3 paintings. I adore the overall green hue and how it plays well with the other 2 paintings. I wanted the waves to be the focal point, so I hid the sun off to the side. The shadows of the waves on the right side are my favorite part of this painting (and of course the antique frame with decorative gesso pieces!) Frame measures 21.5" x 16.25".
